Isle of Skye Photo Tour – Intro
The isle of Skye in Scotland is a place full of history, great food, beer, and stunning cliffs! This photographic workshop will bring you (and your camera) in the heart of Scotland: we’ll visit the most beautiful landscapes and cliffs of Scottish Highlands and Isle if Skye. This is not a trip for who likes sleep all morning and shopping in the afternoon, we’ll take photos at sunrise and sunset, because we’ll be chasing the light! You’ll find out all the techniques in planning, post-processing and on the field from two international recognized photographers: Alessio Andreani and Alessio Putzu. You’ll find out how to get the most from your photography and enjoy this amazing hobby or profession. We’ll bring you at Neist Point, Quiraing, Elgol and others places chosen accordingly to the weather condition. You’ll find the help of really passionate professional photographers and other people like you, we’ll take photo together, learn together and enjoy an amazing photo tour in Scotland together! Isle of Skye photographic course Itinerary
- 11th November 2017: meeting at Glasgow (GLA) or Edinburgh Airport (EDI) in the morning. Ideally will leave for Isle of Skye at late morning, after a quick briefing we’ll be able to start the photo tour with a photographic session at sunset or night!
- 12th to 18th November 2017: Chasing the light at sunrises and sunsets in the most beautiful cliffs of Scotland. Between sunrise and sunset: theory, post-production and relax in great company.
- 19th November 2017: All good things (must) come to an end, flights back home in the evening (from Edinburgh – EDI or Glasgow – GLA) and we’ll start planning the next photo tour!

A photographic course to remember
The Isle of Skye is stunning for lighthouses, cliffs and landscapes, but our photo trip’s philosophy is to create an amazing group of people that share a passion for photography and the will of enjoy some days together. We don’t like huge groups or the frenzy of other tours, the group will be limited to 10-12 amazing people only. We want to keep the number of participants for each tutor to 5-6 and let everybody enjoy the tour. Our trips are good fun, with your own private time, focused on photography and always planned by me and Alessio Putzu to get the most from the weather conditions and the location knowledge we have.
Useful information about the photo trip
- The Scotland Photo Tour will take place from 11th November to 19st November 2017
A minimum number of 3 attendees is requested– the course is confirmed- The price per person is £1000 (or equivalent in € at the moment of payment)
- The maximum number of attendees is 10
- A £500 deposit is requested to confirm the participation
- The remaining must be paid 30 days before the Trip (11th October 2017)
- The course is suitable for English and/or Italian speakers
