Prints
Printed by hand, one at a time, on Hahnemühle paper. Every one signed.
On a screen a photograph is light coming through glass. On paper it becomes an object: it has a surface, it takes the light of the room it hangs in, and it changes with the hour of the day. It is the form these pictures were made for, and the only one that lasts.
Printed here, one at a time
I print every sheet myself, at home, on a professional pigment printer, on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth — pure cotton, a smooth matt surface that holds the detail in the shadows without throwing the light back at you. Nothing goes out that I have not seen come off the printer and approved. If a sheet is not right it does not get sold: it goes in the bin.
What arrives
The photograph does not run to the edge of the paper. It sits inside a white margin, wider at the bottom — which is where the print is handled, where the signature goes, and what any framer will expect. The two sizes below are shown to scale against each other.

A4 · 29,7 × 21 cm

A3+ · 48,3 × 32,9 cm
Every print is signed in pencil in the bottom margin. Open prints stay available. Limited prints are numbered by hand and stop at one hundred: when the hundred are gone that edition is closed, and it is not reopened.
Sizes and prices
Per print, shipping excluded.
Shipping and time
I ship anywhere. The cost is worked out once we know the size and where it is going, because a flat-packed print to Milan and one to Melbourne are not the same parcel — so it is quoted, not guessed.
Production takes up to twenty-one days from the confirmed request and the payment, plus transit, which depends on the destination. If you need it by a date, say so and I will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
Ask for a print
Tell me which photograph, which size, and whether you want it open or limited — and where it should go. I will come back with the shipping cost and the total.
